Yeah. I noticed that too. It does make it way easier to have people around you care about. But the same could be said for home too. It can be really easy to isolate yourself, but it doesn't make things better. Not really.
Ange hesitates for quite a few moments, but then just decides to send the text. It just hits a little bit too close to Martin's words there, after all. It'd feel like lying to not admit it.
And maybe the information imbalance will become a little less awkward once more and more actually gets out there. ]

I just wanted to make it clear. I imagine it's the sort of thing that's a little awkward for someone else to know about when you don't know whether you've told them or not.

Yeah. I mean, it shows I really trusted you, right? I'm glad I had friends like that. Or, I guess, that the other me did. Got to admit, that part's still kind of hard to wrap my head around sometimes.
You get used to it pretty quickly. Take that from someone who already had to deal with that kind of stuff back home. [ At some point you just accept that there are a whole bunch of 'you's running around.
Though Ange does suppose it's a little easier that she never had to interact with anyone who knew a different her. Not really, anyway. ]

Yeah, that's fair. I mean, I guess people can get used to pretty much everything if they have to. So you had this kind of thing happen at home too, huh? So it's not just a weird Trench thing. Well, I guess Trench/Deerington thing.
I'm glad we trusted each other. I'm sure we'll figure it out here too. I mean, you're already venting about your partner's taste in food to me.

Well, there's probably worse people you could've ended up sending this to. Hopefully this whole... stuff getting sent to the wrong person thing is just temporary, and it'll fix itself.
